Being with Those You Love MARCH 2017
Tim has said goodbye to those office 'antlers', et al, at Unger Office with the theme song: "On The Road Again" playing in the background to his sendoff ceremony.  We are bringing a whole new level of interest to our outdoors and living in the structure of aluminum.

 See you later Family!

This is departure day from Sacramento Shade, our home for the past several months which we chose as the best RV Park on Auburn Blvd.  Heading out in CasaRoll, our 30' Travel Trailer, from CubeSmart Storage (lending itself useful with a goods exchange) we place the bikes on the back platform of the RV.  The platform is manufactured only by Tim and is winning enough to be pitched on the tv show: "Shark-Tank".

Our daughter, Angela, played a 'blast off' role in securing the perfect course of cell and hotspot ability for those full-timers that still require to be in charge of their own destiny.  So we are now on the road after many dreams, plans, friendships, and strong family support to fill this Blog with content.

WE FOLLOW OUR BLISS south on Highway 5 with Vince Gill's gospel, country steel guitar serenading:  "If you want to see how love should be just look at us.....we are making our history!"

Along CA Highway 5 the Ag country paves the corridor on this yellow brick road which will lead us to the Wizard of San Diego, CA for our visit with Janice Sharples, a long-time friend and family of a professional baseball player, Phil Nevin, for the SD Padres and now is NY Yankees 3rd base, Manager.

We nestled in our FIRST night off-grid next to the Amazon Fulfillment Center, ironically across the expansive parking lot.  Visually WOW-ing us even more than their online services: the Amazon Fulfillment Center continues for 1/4 mile with rows of warehouse buildings.  2M square feet filled with satisfying items!

The Flying J becomes another best friend as we are welcomed members with enticing fuel discounts.  The diesel truckers are corralled for a restful night as if the Pony Express remained on-going.  All this industry we are leaving to many miles of road surrounded by almond trees........nature made by mankind abounds!

300 miles South of Sacramento on Hwy 5 is Lebec, CA:  Almond orchards serve as nature's fence here along Hwy 5.   There are 6,800 CA almond growers that promise $13 Billion annually to the CA economy.  The canal lift station serves water to those nuts and others in dire need in South CA.
This second day of travel on the road takes us through 4000' elevation at Tejon Pass to the fog of the Los Padres National Forest.  Marooned in fog, we walked to breakfast near Castaic City, CA: a pioneer oil town.
We passed by Hungry Valley SVRA thinking of the fun our friends: Rob and Sandy and Steve and Rita experience on their 4-wheel drive razor machines.  Hungry Valley is the third largest unit of CA St Park Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Divisions.   A moment of what the world once was.  We ended our day near Temecula at the beautiful "people of the sunny slopes" located at
JoJoba Hills RV Community: an SKP Resort, non-profit, active 55+ cooperative.  Membership in the co-op entitles the member use of a specific site. Escapees hideaway which I thought we need never leave.
