WE HAVE RESUMED OUR 2017 TRAVEL TOUR
after having flown from Sacramento (which we were there for JUNE) for our grandson, Jeffrey, High School Graduation; and our son, Jason and new wife, Erin Wedding.
NOW: We are departing the Family Farm in New York and taking
a course: counter-clockwise of the "Colony States"
Ithica,
New York @ Taughannock State Park
Named for the outstanding natural attraction the
Taughannock Falls that plunges 215’ past rocky cliffs that tower nearly 400’ above
the gorge. Spectacular views from our walk
above the falls and from below at the end trail street level. There is a boat launch and beach nearby. Walked around the marina out onto the
picturesque pier.
WE toured
Cornell University grounds and the botanical gardens. The university is built on hillsides within the town. Ithica is shaped by its educational institutions and sculped by its gorges and waterfalls.

7/12/2017 Watkins Glen International Auto Race Track. The Sports facility, nicknamed: "The Glen" New York.
WATKINS GLEN State Park
A slice of Heaven. In the woods adjoining the trail and the 19 waterfalls surrounded us during our walk. The gorge trail descends 400’ past 200’ cliffs. Number # USA TODAY Readers’ Choice for Best State Park.
Hiked the trails all laid out perfectly to captivating views!
