Tim and Linda Bunyan
We depart our visit with our children to head to visit Mike and Paul in the Palm Springs area. Our storage unit awaits our return someday to South Dakota where we intend to return.
Christmas was planned at their house in Rancho Mirage; however, due to Covid, Klaus Christmas 2020 is CANCELED! We all agreed this was not an appropriate time for gatherings as we are all threatened by the Pandemic announcement.
On the road, through CA to Palm Springs, we come upon the construction of the bullet train. The CA High-Speed Rail has been disappointing; however, with Biden infrastructure proposal the megaproject is once again going forward with hope. Most Californians have no reason to ride a train between Merced and Bakersfield but the money incinerator will continue to burn tax dollars and it does not appear to stop.
The CA Jack in the Box is showing an entrepreneurial spirit as you can see Raisins are selling in the parking lot!
Amazon continues to lead in every way imaginable... on the open road and.........even the Stock Market!
Does this say ASS Almonds? No, JSS Almonds is looking very sure of themselves as a CA Leader in bringing in revenue to the CA State budget while 'feeding the world' with almonds.
The grapevine this year is welcome. Last year the road was covered with snow!
We are staying in Palm Springs on our way to Mazatlan. Angela and Lee are generous in sharing time at their TimeShare which is wonderful for Tim and me a place to be as we transition from Family to Mazatlan 12/2000.

It is Christmas in the Desert!
We arrive at the Welk Desert Oasis!
We make a quick stop at Mike and Paul's house in Rancho Mirage. It is Christmas at their house, the Manger is set up with added love from Terry's collection.
Our place is roomy and so comfortable! Woodstock is making himself at home,
Here in Arizona is a Rest Stop with an entrepreneur selling from a tacos cart.
The Gila Bend station has been purchased and reconstructed into a giant Pilot station. This new Pilot also displays the name of the town located on a map on their front entrance..
