Tim and Linda Bunyan

Season 2019 at our "Sticks 'n Bricks Home" in Mazatlan: January 27 - April 10
So fun to see the couples that we have become friends and have purchased condos at our Quintas.  We are so happy with the leadership as the association has been led by President Kathy and Treasurer Diane.  Our management is Humberto and Veronica.  They are a new team and have improved the entire grounds, replaced the tennis court fence, painted, and we have now passed the motion to install electric heat for the pool.  Fiber optic Internet is planned to be installed and will be ready for us next season!

New couch making our condo our very own.....and Woodstock likes it too!

Tennis Court gets a beautification..........looks like Pickle Ball to me!

Condo Association voted to heat the pool.  Perhaps next year it will be warm!

Tim relaxing poolside.!

Enough relaxing; Now Tim is updating our house bath.  Here is the plan (on the wall).  Raise fixture outlet for New Light Fixture
 Rewire for New Fixture !!!

New Fixture!
Now the hard part: install mirror!

New sink, cabinets, mirror, and tiled backsplash, new fixtures.

New shelving, towel bars, and decorative photo art of Mazatlan City Shrimp Boat, Native to western Mexico the Lilac-crowned Parrot, and Brown Pelicans.

OK, Back to Relaxing for Tim.
The Hot Air Balloons are made of wire and metal.  We brought them for the Hot Air Balloon Festival we attended last September 2018 on our return trip from back east, we drove through Albuquerque, New Mexico.  We brought it to our Condo on the Beach to decorate our balcony.   It is perfect and a good place for Tim (and Woodstock) to relax!

Our good friends John and Mike came in for a day while on their Mexico Cruise.  We took them to the top of the Freman Hotel for a Michelada (beer and lime in the frosted glass rimmed with cayenne powder or local tajin.)

Van and Jo-Eve and Tim and I at the Shrimp Ladies to load up on Shrimp!!!

Here is Mayo, Woodstock's neighbor, come to visit.

A perfect breakfast, Tim fixes waffles on occasion with heated syrup.

Mildred and David included us in their Carnaval Plans.  So exciting to go to Street Bar to watch, and be a part, of the Parade!  Tim's 'costume' across his forehead says:
  Made In China
Carnaval Parade Float                    My sequin blue/green beret has a use here at Carnaval!

Mildred and David chose their costumes at the concessions along the parade route!

Carnaval Float
 Downtown city streets at Carnaval!

Pat and Mary's dog, Sutter, knows "Where it's Happening"!!!

Woodstock kicks up his heels at his Happy Place!

 Woodstock watching the Sunset!
Tim took me downtown to the street of Florists.  For my birthday, I chose my bouquet!
Feeling good at our "Sticks 'n Bricks".  Condo on the ocean!
Tim is getting very professional at Kite Flying!

Our friend Audrey vacation resting; just a couple more years till full retirement!

Girls night out Celia arranged as her daughter visits from Washington.  Judi and Georga and me at Twisted Mama's to listen to our favorite Band: REX.  Dad and son still making good sounding tunes together.  Son just beginning to play 'heavier' guitar music, rather than our old favs of Santana and Bob Seagar.
Mandatory Walks on the Beach...tuff job, someone has to do it!

He carries an entire tray filled with assorted fruit cups Up and Down the Beach all Day.  Notice he carries a folding stand
to place the tray as the
customer selects a choice of fruit.

Kite Boarder launching.......onto a surfboard, propelled by this wind sail and over thru the ocean waves.

This fruit server uses 'wheels' ..........guess it is better....a 'sand bike'.

Here is our home!
Lifeguard gets around on the beach.
All is well that ends well !!!

Los Osuna Agave Tequila Ranch and Distillery in Mazatlan.  Our favorite is the Reposado.  It is rested less than a year in Oak barrels.

Kathy and Lou have served well as President of our Condo Association.  Their accomplishments are gaining a strong view of the budget and hiring new, professional Administrators.
Kathy and Diane, fine beachcombers and Leaders of our Quintas Association
Jo-Eve and hubby Van bought their condo about the same time as we did.  For over 12 years we did not meet them as they, and us, were working.  Our vacation weeks never did overlap.  This past year we have retired and now have become fast friends.  They are from Fergus Falls, Minnesota.

Mary and Pat hosted a Bar Opening at their house.  Pat's new design:  laundry room turned into a useable space:  note the shelves and counter.  The bar towel rack is from a piece of bamboo that drifted on shore at their place.

Guest with Torre Playa Dorada, Ed Gray, remains a class act!  Showing us he still wears his shirts with cufflinks.

Mary, a great hostess, greets at the front door with champagne.

Rod and Audrey purchased Jim and Linda's place just above ours.  They are thrilled as we are to own a place on the beach.  Audrey has a few more years to work.  Rod does some Etsy woodcarvings for fun in his shop.  They live in Albany, Oregon.  We plan to visit them this Travel Tour 2019 on our way through the Pacific Northwest.
Kathy, Diane, Jo-Eve, and I went to a Quilt Festival.  These are only a few of the 'works of art'!
