Arrived Bruce and Susan Moneymaker's new house, in Shelton, located in the westernmost city on Puget Sound.  Last month Bruce and Susan moved to their new house which is set in beautiful scenery on a private, tree-filled acre.  They welcomed our arrival and extended their yard as plenty of room to accommodate our RV and stay for a few days!
Bruce and SYC pal, Matt and Monique, were there to greet us!

The Sacramento Yacht Club champions now ruling the waves at The Sound.
Here is their driveway upon our arrival to their new house in the woods of Shelton, WA.
Their backyard comes with a playhouse for Naomi!

Bruce and Susan moved in about a month ago from Lacey, WA to Shelton, WA.  Close to their boat and working from home.  This distance to work headquarters remains within an hour's drive if necessary.  It is about 15 minutes to their boat at the marina!
There is ample room alongside their house for our RV so we settle in quite comfortably.

Bruce and Susan are caring for their grandchild: Naomi.  She is adjusting keenly to her new surroundings.  Naomi is quite content playing on her own personal laptop.

Bruce and Susan are making sausage......keep the fingers out of the machine!

Monique doing her magic in the kitchen

Morgan is a reader!  Here is her book Red, White, and Royal Blue.  She is excited to begin this story.

Susan set up the campfire and we roasted marshmallows.  Matt and Monique telling stories of making their plans to 'right size' to a boat to do The Great Circle.
Matt has taken up filming their mission!
The next day we visit the Shelton Yacht Club and Marina where Bruce and Susan
 have their boat.
Walking the docks of the marina.
They store their boat in its own slip inside a boat garage of their very own!

Tim, Bruce and Matt inside the SYC clubhouse.

Bruce takes us around the Sound where marinas and housing go well together.
This is a private community with a boat marina and park concession.
It is so enchanting!

Of course, before we leave, Bruce and Susan take us for a boat ride!
Yes, Mount Ranier there in its majesty!!!
Susan can take the wheel here and fix a lunch of waffles sandwiches that are delicious!

Bruce is showing Tim the GPS system through Hammersley Inlet, heading into the magnificent Mount Ranier (on good behavior) fully apparent without cloud cover!  What a glorious boating day it is!

We had a wonderful visit and we're so happy for Bruce and Susan and Naomi in their new house perfectly suited to them with space and trees and privacy and also neighbors nearby.
Goodbye to Matt, Monique, and Morgan as they are driving back to Sacramento with a stop to visit their daughter along the way.  Retirement suits them well!
Morgan took this picture, here is the gang, R-L: Bruce, Monique, Matt, Susan, Linda, and Tim.
Still early, I am in my pj's.

Time to move on further up the west side of the Sound to Port Townsend for a quick overnight.  We take the ferry to go over to visit Mike and Paul at their house.
