11/14/2018 Stop #44 Sacramento for the 2018 Holidays

Tim and Linda Bunyan

A great way to complete 2018 as we are enjoying time with our family and friends.

It is Angela's birthday celebration at her house.  Last year their kitchen, family room, and living room fireplace were renovated.  They certainly enjoy the family gathering.....in the kitchen for birthday cake.

Jeffrey is in the spirit of celebrating Angela's birthday; however, he has to go to his new job at Target working in the Electronics Department.  We go to dinner at Incontro in Danville, then we took dinner to Jeffrey at his job.  Jeffrey is quite the natural almost selling each of us a new i-phone!

Halloween at Jason & Erin's house

It is Fall here in Sacramento.  Tim is updating the RV.  Installing an Inverter, upgraded RV stabilizing jacks, and completed the automatic lighting in the master closet.  While we were on the road a few months ago, we purchased new tires for the RV and the truck.  We are preparing for our 2019 Summer travel up the north coast, Coeur d'Alene, and onto Yellowstone National Park.

Here is Woodstock taking inventory.  Tim is working out the back of his truck using his tools.

Tim has his table set up as his workbench while at our RV site.

This is the new upgrade for the stabilizer jacks.

A positive image on X-rays; just time to heal now.  Our doctor is quite pleased with the results.

It is the lovely time of year for family gatherings!  We spent Thanksgiving at Erin's parents: John and Barbara Webber.  It was delightful, an evening of adult dining at their house they built in Wilton, when Erin was a young girl, to live the country lifestyle.

Barbara and Jason set out their plan for carving the turkey.
Lee supervises Jason as they read from the i-phone demonstration for carving the turkey.
Angela and Barbara have completed the cooking of the meal and feel as
 Champions of the World!

John is celebrating and has given tours to his Automobile Collection.  Each has chosen their favorites......all different!  CHEERS!

 New Years at SYC!

Time to prepare for Winter storage and head south to Mazatlan.
Mike and Sherry come, with their RV, to hang with us at the Willowberm RV Park on the Sacramento Delta.
Winter is here and so are our friends Sherry and Mike.  They have come for a visit at our RV while my foot is healing.
We found the tavern across the street, here on the Delta, plays BINGO; Sherry is a winner!
Tim and Linda playing BINGO.............and win a game!
 This is very busy work!

Time to get on the road again.  I am mobile on my knee scooter.  Tim chose the four-wheel drive, and brakes, and double padded knee pad.  I get around the grocery store quick and I have a basket!

This is the new cargo bin Tim created for the trailer and one for the Lexus.

Tim has created a storage trunk for the Lexus for our trip south.  Time to load up and head South.

Jason & Erin with their Kitty Maggie and Kitty Chicken say goodbye.
