The campground is located at the seaside town within Narragansett at the Dock at Port of Galilee.   It is an authentic working New England fishing village.  Home to the largest fishing fleet in Rhode Island.  

A thriving Fish Market and Lobster Sales and the Block Island Ferry.  Surfers at Rose Nulman Park at the Beach. 

 Consistent waves and swells all year long.  Watching the water for hours as surfers of every age paddle out and catch some waves.

Narragansett Town Beach and the Coastal Institute 



are dedicated to increasing understanding of the relationships between human, environmental, and natural resource economics.

A major renovation and school here to offer students an opportunity to be a part of history for the 1885 Coronet Grand Yacht which has moved to Mystic. It is the last surviving American yacht from the Golden Age.  It has been under restoration at IYRS School since 1995 and has relocated to Mystic Seaport Museum. The Coronet was built in 1885.

Breakers mansion was purchased by the Preservation Society and designated a National Historic Landmark in 1994.

Eisenhower Home a National Historic Site preserves the farm of General and 34th President Dwight D. Eisenhower.  Once the summer White House, the property commands breathtaking views of Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay.  Built in 1873; today serves as an event space specializing in weddings, rehearsal dinners, and corporate functions.

Brown University is a private Ivy League research university in Providence, Rhode Island. 7th oldest institution of higher education in the United States.  Founded in 1764 as the College in the English Colony of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, One of Nine colonial colleges charted before the American Revolutions.

Roger Williams Park in Providence, Rhode Island.  Beautifully landscaped and named after the founder of the city of Providence and the primary founder of the state of Rhode Island.   

Washington Square 1678 James Town is a neighborhood in Providence, Rhode Island.  


"Original Home of the Se4abees", Seabee Museum and Memorial Park in Rhode Island continues to honor men and woman and their contributions during war and peace. 1940 began building bases.   Naval construction during World War II, The Korean War, The Vietnam War, The Conflicts in the Middle East, and Operation Enduring Freedom.  They continue to fight in the Global War on Terrorism, providing necessary assistance in construction and repairs.  Quonset huts are set in place.



Narragansett Lager is old and reliable.  It was the first beer brewed by "The Original Six" back in 1890 and the best-selling beer in New England from the 1930s to the 1`970's.  The bock and porter are craft-brewed in Providence Rhode Island.
We met the new owner (a friend of my brother, Mike).

On to New London, Connecticut to cross the Sound Ferry to Long Island, NY.
